Hey y'all! I'm Alana Horowitz, a rising junior at NYU studying journalism, history and maybe a few other things. I grew up in Millburn, New Jersey which is a small town right outside of New York. After spending my entire life in the tri-state area, I'm ready for a change: i'll be spending next semester in Africa-- Accra, Ghana to be specific. I'm both excited and completely terrified. Until then, I'll be working at Harrison and Starr, spending time with my family and friends and freelancing for a bunch of local newspapers. Can't wait to meet everyone.May 27, 2009
